Over 800,000 children are missing every year, that's about one every 40 seconds. This is every parents worst nightmare. One of the best things a parent can do to prepare for a nightmare like this is to have their child's fingerprints on hand, not only because everyone's fingerprints are unique, but also because they don't change over time like physical appearances. If a child goes missing, law enforcement authorities can scan the child's fingerprints into the National Crime Information Center database, which can be a massive help in identifying a lost child.
LMSolutions will be hosting a table at Safety Town on June 17th to provide parents with a FREE Child Identification Kit, while supplies last. This kit contains an inkless fingerprint, DNA swab, and information card that contains all the child's information, description, and picture. Please come visit us at Trebein Elementary between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
