A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT/CEOMoving FORward with your public speaking journey, last week Step 2 was to “Tell your story.” Hopefully, you were able to think about your story and how it compliments what makes your heart sing.
Here FOR you,
The next step to continue in our journey is to learn how to have a conversation. What this means is how to appear natural. It takes practice! You need to internalize your content so you can deliver it as comfortably as having a conversation with a close friend. If your voice, gestures and body language are incongruent with your words, your audience will distrust the message and ultimately you.
Remember the 3 P’s: Passion, Practice and Presence. This will help you learn to deliver your presentation in a genuine, authentic and conversational way. So, don’t deliver a presentation, instead have a conversation.
