FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 100+ Women of Greene County to Award $14,620 to Violence Free Futures Xenia, Ohio – March 5, 2025 – 100+ Women Making a Difference in Greene County, a philanthropic organization dedicated to supporting non-profits in Greene County, is proud to announce that co-founders, Rebecca Morgann and Sandy McHugh, will present a donation of $14,620 to Celeste Hurley, Executive Director of Violence Free Futures. The presentation will take place on March 5th at 4:00 PM at the Outreach Campus located at 193 S Progress Dr, Xenia, Ohio 45385. Violence Free Futures is a non-profit organization committed to creating safe and supportive environments for individuals affected by violence. Their mission is to end family, domestic, and sexual violence and its impact in Greene County through prevention, intervention, collaborative community programs, and safe housing. This generous donation will support their ongoing efforts to provide critical resources and services to those in need. The mission of the 100+ Women Making a Difference in Greene County is to bring together women who care about their community and are committed to making a significant impact through collective giving. By pooling their resources, they aim to support local charities and initiatives that benefit the residents of Greene County. Their approach is simple yet powerful: each member is asked to donate $100 at quarterly meetings, and the group collectively decides which charity will receive the funds. This method allows them to make substantial contributions to various non-profits, enhancing the well-being of their community.
